Welcome to The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1, the first of 3 Levels of Certification. The 3 Levels of Certification are designed to equip you with all the necessary concepts and practices associated with Leadership to excel in your current and future roles and make you an Impactful Leader.
The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1 and the two following Levels are created with the necessary detail and rigour to ensure deep learning.
This is an assisted learning Course with required interactions with Instructor(s), activities and assessments. The Course is constructed in Modules. Level 1 Certification Course has 13 modules with assessments.
Although, you can study the modules in any order, it is strongly recommended that you do Leadership Competency Framework module first as it lays down the framework and base for all modules to follow.
You will receive a minor certificate on passing each module. However, you have to pass all the modules’ assessments to complete The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1.
Some modules, because of their nature, include group mentoring requirement, where you are required to interact with our mentor online, without which the module will not be considered complete.
The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1 covers the modules as shown in the Table below, with the price for each module. These modules can be accessed using hyperlinks. Each module is constructed to equip you with the necessary concepts and practices aimed at bringing about the necessary change in behaviours and making you an impactful leader.

Leadership Competency Framework will provide you with the overall approach to leadership that SAGES Leadership Academy follows. We have identified 28 critical leadership competencies which we believe are necessary to master to become an impactful leader. Of the 28 identified competencies, 12 are covered in the Level 1 Program.
Some competencies with depth and width of concepts and practices will be covered in multiple levels.
Each of the above modules is created to ensure you have access to all the necessary information to master the competency. It is suggested that you go through the content of each module in detail before attempting the Assessment for that module. We also suggest that you regularly revisit the modules you may have studied and cleared, as you may get new perspectives.
After studying each module, you can take the assessments for that module. Upon passing an assessment, you will be awarded a micro-certificate for the respective module. Once you pass all the assessments, you will be awarded a Certificate Of Completion for The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1.
Each certification level is a pre-requisite for commencing the next higher level certification, i.e., you cannot commence The Impactful Leader Program – Level 2 unless you have passed Level 1, and so on.
The Impactful Leader Program – Level 1 Certification Course is expected to take about 30 man-days of study, including interaction with Instructor(s) and assessments. However, there is no time limit for access to content or assessments. You can access all the subscribed modules at any time.
